The Principal Speaks

"The best education is not the one that teaches you facts, but the one that helps you discover your own thoughts. It is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think."

 – Albert Einstein

At Tarapada Sarangi DAV Public School, Baharagora (TS DAV PS), we believe education is more than just academics. We strive to cultivate well-rounded individuals who are not only intellectually sharp but also possess strong moral character and a deep sense of empathy.
Holistic education is at the heart of our philosophy. We encourage students to explore their passions through a diverse range of activities, including arts, music, sports, and community service. These experiences enrich their lives, foster creativity, and develop essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and leadership.
We also place a strong emphasis on moral education. We believe it is crucial for students to develop a strong moral compass, to understand the importance of ethical behavior, and to contribute positively to society. We integrate moral values into our curriculum through discussions, role-playing, and real-life examples.
We encourage parents to partner with us in their child's education. By fostering a strong moral foundation at home and supporting their academic and extracurricular pursuits, we can together help them grow into responsible, compassionate, and successful individuals.
